Liberal-Agenda Facebook Censors Caldwell's Campaign Ad

Rep. Matt Caldwell, candidate for Florida’s commissioner of agriculture, is taking aim at Facebook’s institutional liberalism after the social media site suspended his pro-Second Amendment ad.

Caldwell, R-North Fort Myers, whose campaign labeled him "the principled conservative in the race," issued the following rebuke:

“Facebook’s liberal agenda is keeping our campaign for commissioner of agriculture from sharing our message. Facebook has mislabeled our ad in an effort to censor our pro-Second Amendment support and endorsement from the NRA.”

“The U.S. Constitution could not be clearer," said Caldwell. "Our Second Amendment rights are inalienable. These God-given rights were enshrined in the Constitution by our Founding Fathers and Facebook’s censorship regime cannot get away with waging a war against conservative ideals and our pro-liberty message. Washington, Jefferson, and Madison are the names on the U.S. Constitution, not Zuckerberg.”

Caldwell’s censored ad is not promoting the sale of weapons or ammunition, as Facebook asserts.  View it by clicking here.

Ca;dwell's team has appealed Facebook's decision, but there's no telling how long the process will take.

The Florida commissioner of agriculture holds one of the highest elected offices in Florida, serving as the guardian of Florida's concealed-weapon license system and safeguarding the Second Amendment.

As a candidate for Florida’s commissioner of Agriculture, Caldwell includes on his endorsement list of conservative leaders and organizations Sen. Marco Rubio, Congressman Matt Gaetz, the National Rifle Association Political Victory Fund (NRA-PVF) and the Florida Police Benevolent Association (PBA).

For starters, Caldwell, like a lot of other politicians in this state, is a total partisan jerk who offers absolutely nothing to the population in general. So, who cares if Facebook refuses to carry his puerile and supercilious advertisement. Like the baker whom the U.S. Supreme Court decided could refuse to provide a cake to a homosexual couple ... Facebook can refuse to provide advertising space to a jerk.

Actually Caldwell's ad shows just what a loose cannon he really is.

Thanks to the five libterds below, I now know for sure that I will vote Matt Caldwell for Agriculture Commissioner in Florida. Signed//A recovering Democrat.

Yeah, right . . . . the only recovering you're doing is from your own folly . . . . . . . or were you lying when you posted --> "I already changed my party affiliation, SO I CAN VOTE AGAINST HILLARY in the primary ! Good strategy huh?...Hopefully it will catch on... (Oh betcha [to paraphrase Sarah] it will ! ) " . . . . . . . . . . either way . . . . . . PATHETIC

Seems like it was a good strategy that caught on

Another self-proclaimed “Patriot” who hasn’t a clue about his own country’s founding. Rep. Caldwell, Thomas Jefferson did NOT sign the Constitution. He Google it.

Why do Republicans lie and distort the facts? FB's concern has nothing to do with exercising one's LIMITED rights under the 2nd Amendment or 1st Amendment. I wish they would let him have it. Shows what an idiot he is - doesn't even know what his 2nd Amd rights are - are are not, and thinks the majority of voters are gun lovers -- after Pulse???? After Parkland???? Get a grip.

The 2nd Amendment gives us no rights. Get educated.

Pantload Caldwell is jumping the gun. Plenty of political ads get declined by Facebook — liberal ones, conservative ones, pro-gun ones and anti-gun ones. Let’s see piggy boy come squealing back when his ad gets approved on review. Usually happens within a day or so. He’s showing what a shoot-from-the-hip loose cannon he really is. Oh. By the by: “Important cabinet position”? What a joke. Stupid job ought to be eliminated, amirite?

Your argument loses its power when you resort to name calling. If as you say it is approved on review within a day or so, then no harm no foul. However, if that is not the case, Facebook is usurping our free speech rights. I am actually for reasonable gun control AND the second amendment. Most of all, however, I am for free speech.

Hey pantie load #2. do you believe This is a free country or only what you want to believe??????????

I gasp for breath to see both Rubio and Gaetz in the same sentence, what is Caldwell's position on medical marijuana?
